KHK offers 3 styles of gearboxes for use in your industrial automation application. Our PBX gearboxes are small, lightweight, low cost, light duty gearboxes designed for 1:1 or 1:2 reduction using bevel gears. Our KBX gearboxes are moderate sized, robust, maintenance free, moderate duty gearboxes designed for a 1:1 or 1:2 reduction using case hardened, alloy steel, bevel gears. Our CBX gearboxes are large, industrial grade, heavy duty gearboxes. Designed with case hardened alloy steel, spiral bevel gears, these gearboxes are housed in a cast iron housing and use taper roller bearing on all of the shafts. These gearboxes are also available in 1:1 or 1:2 reduction ratios but they are uniquely assembled in one of 24 configurations. As the CBX gearboxes are assembled to order, the standard lead time is 3 weeks ARO
